Red Kite Update

Today I’ve completed my longest kiting session yet. 5 hours and 15 minutes later David returned home from a day birding in Norfolk and suggested that I’d done just 2 hours. I think the final hour count may come as a bit of a surprise to him if I ever manage to finish it!

Anyway, I’ve now been working at it for 33 hours and 40 minutes. This is the current state of play…

It wouldn’t be quite so bad if it was just the kite that needed stitching but there is a HUGE background to go with it. That was one of the reasons that we chose the design but I’m slightly regretting it right now!
